Your collection files open in Obsidian, VS Code, iA Writer, or any Markdown-compatible app. Your data is never locked into MDCollections.

No Export Needed

There is no export step and no conversion process. Your files are already in a universal format. If you stop using the app, your collection stays exactly where it is, readable by anything.
